After surgery, the patient will have a more proportionate silhouette, less volume, swelling and pain, and can move with greater ease.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Real results by degree<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results of the surgery, depending on the level of involvement, are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the initial stage or <a href=\"https:\/\/sculptureclinic.es\/blog\/lipedema-grado-1\/\">grade one<\/a>, very favorable results are achieved; the legs and arms regain their harmony, restoring their natural shape.<\/li>\n<li>For grade two lipedema, results are also very satisfactory. A large part of the volume of the extremities is reduced; skin texture improves, although some looseness may remain.<\/li>\n<li>As for grade three lipedema, which is the most complex, deformities are eliminated, large masses of fat are removed, returning more uniformity to the extremities. Generally, the patient requires another type of body contouring surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recovery and postoperative period<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first days after lipedema surgery, it is normal to experience swelling, pain, and bruising; these discomforts continue for at least two more weeks. Walking is recommended from the day of surgery to activate circulation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the postoperative period, the specialist recommends the use of compression garments, compression stockings, girdles, or compression sleeves to shape the area and prevent fluid accumulation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After two weeks you can resume your daily life, without performing strenuous physical activities.
